So I made this card because the saying just cracked me up and only afterward did I learn that cow greeting cards are all the rage with cow lovers! Who knew? I just know that the cows in this set made me laugh out loud with their unapologetic…….COWness……. and then, even though I am not a “cow” person, those saying had me in giggles. I had to get it.
Let's look at today's cow greeting card:
Those bovine beauties were clearly a hit since I used them here and then here using Stampin' Blends and then again here (with that same greeting which makes me howl) and even inspired me to create my own “cow spots” here. And I also used it in club and in classes and I am preeeetttty sure just about everyone who used it got it because it made them laugh, too. So imagine what your cards will do to the people to whom you send them!
Let's talk for one sec about the retiring In Colors.
Every. Single. Year since Stampin' Up! started offering limited time only color collections – the In Colors – someone reaches out to me and FREAKS out because they have run out of one of their favorite colors of card stock or their ink pad has run dry. And I cringe when I have to tell them that other than the black market, those items are no longer out there to buy. Please don't be one of those sad, sad people! If any of the currently retiring In Colors are your faves – like the Blueberry Bushel and Call Me Clover that I used in today's cow greeting cards – order what you need now and then maybe a little more for the future. Because, trust me, this year I WILL be fielding sad calls…..
