Over the Moon with Stampin Up
Today we are playing with Over the Moon with Stampin Up! This is such a cute set and I use it all the time. It's great for so many occasions and one I think should be on every stampers shelves 🙂
I am not a cow lover of sorts (beef – yes!) but I don't decorate or do much with cow decor or cow creativity, if that is even a thing. So I was on the fence about getting it at first. I have easily made over 20 different cards using this stamp set. It's fun and versatile, so a win in my book.
This is a simple card that doesn't take a lot of time or supplies. Rather than going with patterned paper or an embossing folder, I made my own custom background by using Swirly Frames.
Actually, before we dive into the card, let's quickly go over the supplies you will need to recreate this fun card.
To order any of these supplies simply click on a link below to start your order. Using these links is how we keep this blog going and costs you no extra money. Thank You!!
For orders over $150 placed through my store, don't use the hostess code, you will still get you free tutorials from me. Also, if you don't get your tutorials, make sure in your Stampin Up store profile that you haven't selected the option to not allow the demonstrator to contact you. If that is checked, even if you use the code, I can't see your name/email, nuttin' – so I don't know where to send your tutorials.
Start with stamping your swirly circle in black ink.
Now this next step is optional. I stamped my cow onto a scrap piece of white card stock and then cut it out with my ScanNCut. If you don't have one, you can either fussy cut it out or you can just stamp the cow onto your white rectangle that you will be stamping your sentiment on. It's completely your choice and your cow card will look amazing either way. Then stamp your sentiment.
Then it's onto easy coloring with your Stampin' Blends. Next we will add a simple ribbon swag behind the white layer to really help it pop from the green. That ribbon makes all the difference on this card! Ribbon swags are also a great way to use up scrap pieces of ribbon too.
That's it, my friends! This card is easy to make and fun to give.
Order your supplies using the links above. Then while you are waiting, make a list of who you can make these adorable cow cards for. And if you want more Over the Moon with Stampin Up ideas, try this one here and this one here.
