A Sunflower Card – So Loved!

When I finished this sunflower card I LITERALLY stepped back and said “Wow!”. I don't like to brag. It makes me feel squidgey and weird. But I do have to say, this card is GORGEOUS! AND I wish I could take credit for it! But I can't – it's all in the art of the stamp and the amazing, goof-proof results you can get from using Stampin' Blends. Ah…..my time on the pedestal was short lived – LOL!

Let's all just take a moment to gaze upon this beauty…..

This sunflower card only LOOKS like it took a long time - come see how easy it is to make!

Even looking at it now while I am typing this post, I just feel so happy! The bright colors, the simple background, the impact of that beautifully drawn sunflower……. And you know I love these sunflowers because I used them here and here and I have more projects popping in my head!

Truly, this was an almost embarrassingly easy card to create! Thanks to the images in this set, the only “work” you have to do is color. And you can even stick your tongue out when you do that if you want! I used my Stampin' Blends because I DO love the way you can just color over anything you don't like, dark or light color, because they are alcohol based, Here I used just Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody for the petals plus some green and brown for the center.

WOW! A closeup of this sunflower card showing the coloring details - come see the whole thing!

The sentiment is actually just a portion of a greeting from Ornate Thanks – I just colored it with a Stampin' Write marker, stamped on a scrap, die cut it out and popped it right on the card. I used, yes, a scrap of Bumblebee patterned paper and there you go – easy peasy and FAST! And because the flower is so bountifully big, I didn't feel like I needed to pop it up. But I wanted some overall “pop” so I put the whole panel on with dimensional adhesive and I really like how this sunflower card looks!

How much do you LOVE this sunflower card? Come see how easy it is to make!
