For today's project featuring the new Stampin Up Happy Wishes set, I went simple. The stamps are so pretty, you don't need a lot of pop and bling.
Making of the Card
The Petal Garden paper matches flawlessly with this set. This paper was used in two places, the background of the card and then the label behind the sentiment.
In addition to patterned paper, a strip of Whisper White and a white doily was added and then it was time to stamp!
Measurements:
- Whisper White card stock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″; 1/2″ x 5-1/4″; 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
- Petal Garden Paper: 4″ x 5-1/4″; 3″ x 4-1/2″
Both Sweet Sugarplum ink and Old Olive ink were used for the sentiment. I was looking to add just a bit of sparkle, therefore I brushed over the flowers with the Clear Wink of Stella marker. It adds just a touch of shimmer without overwhelming the card.
