I love daisies! I love them in real life and I love them in my card making. Those and sunflowers are my favorites!
So when the Petals & Paisleys die set came out, I was all over that daisy die! I love the stitching on it, it's just perfect.
And what do you do when you have a die that you love? You cut out a lot of them!
I went to town and cut out 85 million daisies, or was it 8? Maybe just 8 from white card stock 😊
Then I die cut just the middle of the flowers in Cotton Candy cardstock.
These were arranged onto a white cardstock panel and you trim off the excess.
We'll get to the words in just a bit, but let me show you this card…

How adorable is this?
Now onto the words – this is where real life is a bit different from pictures.
This is the new Scripted Sentiments Trio Word Dies and I die cut it three times from the Melon Ice cardstock – it's so fun that Catherine Pooler now has cardstock!
Then I layered them together and intentionally offset them slightly. In the pictures it looks like I can't line anything up. But in real life, it gives a slight drop shadow look that I love. Just adds a touch more dimension.

So if you don't get yours lined up spot on, simply call it artistic!
Sometimes I line them up spot on and sometimes I offset them, it really depends on how busy the card is. This card is simple and the offset looks good. If it was a busy pattern it can look a bit messy.
The Supplies

And that's all there is to this card.
Simple, cute, and easy to make with just a few supplies!
What's Your Favorite Element?
On this card, which is your favorite part? Is it the daisies or the sentiment? Or is it the simple layout?
