How to Make a Quick Thank You Card Using the Happenings Card Kit
You might have seen lately that I have made a lot of projects with the Happenings Card Kit. All the pieces are fun, but the finished sample suggestion cards aren’t at all to my liking. So I have been playing and experimenting with all the little pieces that you get in this kit and making it stretch in fun ways!
This one is a Thank You Card. And it goes together so quick! To begin, you want to punch little divots out of the seam of your card. I used a 1/8” hole punch and slid it onto my card stock just enough to punch a half circle. Then I tied my baker’s twine through it and into a bow. It is the baker’s twine that came in the kit.
I used a heart that came in the kit but then also punched a heart using the full heart punch and some silver glimmer paper. (You can also use the Heart Framelits if you don’t have that punch.)
For my sentiment, I went with the Another Thank You Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! The sentiment was stamped onto the tag that comes in the kit using Bermuda Bay ink.
Add the Smoky Slate background paper that comes in that kit, some adhesive and dimensionals and this card is done!
It is easily a card that you can make in 5 minutes, because most of the work is done for you!
