One of my quick and easy Stampin' Up card ideas using a rewards set.
You all know that I love coming up with quick and easy Stampin' Up card ideas – I believe that if it isn't instant it's not as gratifying. And I do love cute images because they are so appealing
Speaking of cute – this little mouse is just too cute for words! I love the way this card turned out using this stamp set and a scrap piece of card stock.
Before we get too far into the details, let me share this card with you…
How adorable, right?
It uses this stamp set here.
Yes, this is a “host set” but I talk about how you can get this stamp set without having a party in this post. That said, the retiring list is out and there are some fabulous deals so if you do end up filling your shopping cart to the brim, you can grab this set easily.
Speaking of the retiring list, as we all know, prices have gone up on everything around the world. I have it on good authority that even though you may see price increases in the new catalog, we are talking quarters, not dollars on most price increased items. That said, if you want to save multiple piles of quarters, you may want to stock up on all your basics now. Card stock, adhesive, inks refills, etc – things you know you will use all the time.
Getting back to this super easy card – I love the intense cuteness of this stamp set. The only thing better than owning it is getting to use it over and over again!
The Making
I used Stampin' Blends to color in the pencil and the mouse. It was colored in no time! Then you cut out the image, that took the longest part.
The rest is scraps of card stock that I already had out on my counter. The pink strip, the black strip, and the yellow hexagon. All I added to it was the gray dots to help add some texture and the sentiment.
Then for this one, I did the inside of the card as well. Why? More scraps! I got to use them up and that always feels amazing.
That's all there is to making this sweet card!
