Easy Card Using Mischievous Mice

Today I am sharing an easy card using Mischievous Mice stamp set from Stampin' Up!  I love this hostess set so much, it's just adorable!  And it's the most popular host item this spring that my stampers are choosing.

I get asked a lot about how you can get a host item and what they even are.  It's kinda confusing because Stampin' Up! uses two different sets of words for the same item.  They use both “host” and “stampin rewards” interchangeably.  Regardless of what you call it, when your order reaches over $150 or you combine orders with friends that are over $150, you can choose free item(s) based on your total.

You can choose any catalog items with your “host” money or “stampin rewards” but there are also some products that are only available for purchase (and at a discount from regular price!) when you hit that level.

This one is one of two stamp sets you can choose at this level:

It's only $12.50 of your “host” money or “stampin rewards” so you are getting it for free since at the $150 level you get $15 in free goodies.

For this card, you only need this stamp set, one ink pad, one scrap of black card stock, one card base, one embossing folder, two sets of markers, and some baker's twine.

Let me share it with you, it's super cute!

Just stamp your cute mouse holding the balloon, fussy cut it out, color it in, and add it to your embossed layer.  To help your image pop even more, add a little strip of scrap black card stock behind your mouse.

Add all this to your card base.  Then tie a bow using your 10 Second Bow Maker and your baker's twine and you are done!

Stash Card

This would make a great Stash Card as there isn't a sentiment on it right now.  When you need a card, pull this one out, stamp a white card stock panel and slap it on the inside of your card and you are set!
