Quatrefancy Paper & Modern Mosaic from Stampin' Up!
It has been so much fun to play with new paper and embossing folders. Maybe there is a support group that I need, because I simply cannot have enough embossing folders or patterned paper. What about you?
I decided to try out the new Modern Mosaic embossing folder from Stampin' Up!. Can you see where I used it?
I used it on the flowers. I punched them out with the Blossom Punch in Melon Mambo card stock, and then I put them in the Modern Mosaic embossing folder – zipped it on through the Big Shot. THEN: I moved the flowers in the embossing folder and did it again.
Embarrassing confession: I pretty much did this with only one eye open, my head and body facing away, a little afraid to see how it would actually look when I did it. Then there was the moment of truth. Would it look good, or would Melon Mambo card stock be crying all around the world in disgrace? I slowly opened the embossing folder, scared at what I would find – but I think it is all good. I like it!
The base layer for the card is the Quatrefancy Designer Series Paper and I am in love with this subtle pattern. And then I stamped my sentiment right on the patterned paper.
Leave me a comment below answering this questions: Can you ever have enough embossing folders?
I hope that you enjoyed today's Quatrefancy and Modern Mosaic (both from Stampin' Up!) card!
Maybe you and I need to start one! I’m sure there are others who would join!
Love the card. Some more things I need or is that want?
Is there really a difference, Pam, when it comes to embossing folders?
Forgot to say the flowers are beautiful and I love the paper also!
Thank you!
Love the card, I agree, cannot have too many embossing folders. Also love flowers.

Card is beautiful….no, you cannot ever have too many embossing folders. I have just begun building my collection.
This card is so precious. I almost missed the embossing on the green banner layer behind the flower. Love, love, love how clean, simple and suttle the look is. Such a lovely touch to a classy card already. You’ve done it again Megan.
Thanks Bibi!!! I am thrilled that you love it!
