Happy Thanksgiving! I am so grateful to you for your continued support of my small stamping business!

I delight in creating for you, and I appreciate those of you that are new to this site and for those that have been with me since I started this site back in 2007!

I created a fall card with all of you in mind for Thanksgiving. But you can use this idea with all kinds of sentiments throughout the year with a simple change of color and sentiment.

When I purchased the Autumn Leaves bundle, I didn't know how much I would use it. I have used it a ton, and have definitely gotten my money's worth out of it.

The best part about this stamp set is that you can use it with any colors. When I first added it to my order, I couldn't wait to stamp it in pink.

Yep, pink!

And you can see that card here.

This one I went with traditional fall colors. In the spring, I will do it in brighter greens – the card is already planned out in my mind.

Here's this fun card covered with leaves…

The Project

What I love most is all the texture on this card. From the different colors of leaves to the dry embossing, that dotted outline on the tag to the perfect little bow – the texture is awesome!

The Autumn Leaves stamp set is a Distinktive set, so it looks like 2 Step Stamping, but you ink once and stamp once. I love those stamps!

This card came together in under 15 minutes because there aren't a lot of supplies or crazy techniques, just simple stamping, embossing, and a bit of die cutting.

Let me share the supply list with you.

The Supplies

Here's a list of the supplies that I used to create this card. One thing that I resisted ordering a while back was the new(ish) die cutting machine from Stampin' Up!

I had a Big Shot and it was doing fine, I mean, it worked. But then when I finally broke down and got this one, I couldn't believe how smooth everything glides through the machine. After I had it about two months, I was doing lots of die cutting and embossing and thought I would bust out the Big Shot.

That was when I really realized how much better the new machine was. So if you have had your Big Shot fora while and are considering an upgrade, treat yourself this holiday season to the new(ish) machine.
