Learn What You Can Make with Happenings Card Kit {Video Tutorial}

I really like the gray and white patterned paper that comes in the Happenings card kits, as well as the little tags, buttons and baker's twine.  But I do not like the suggested samples that go along with it.

My goal was to see how many different types of cards I could make with the kit and adding in a few other accents here and there.

By the time I was a quarter way through the kit, I really loved the gray and white and would love to have those patterns in a 12×12 format as well.  Smoky Slate is just such a yummy and versatile color!

Today's card is a pocket card, and after I made it, I realized it would be a great video tutorial as there are quite a few steps in the card.  It is simple, but you have to know how to cut everything to size and also how it all goes together.  Rather than taking 800 pictures, it's time for a video!

Here is the card:

I hope that this finds you inspired to create using a kit, but in a different way!
There are many things you can do when you start with a kit and use it to create the types of projects that you like.  Just make sure there are fun components and then use them the way you want!  I love the Happenings card kit – it is just too much fun!
