Handmade Floral Cards

It's that time of year when it really makes sense to make handmade floral cards.  In just minutes, you can bring springtime inside to your craft space, and then send it to someone else's home.

The Card

The card I am sharing today literally takes minutes.  It only takes minutes because of the supplies that make it go faster.  Let's start with the project and then we will cover the supplies.  Here it is!  Below is the inside of the card.

The Supplies

This doesn't take a lot of supplies.  I listed both the entire bundle for the Well Said bundle and the items individually, but for this card we are only using the dies.  I debated on whether to get the bundle, and I haven't regretted having both the stamp set and dies.  Even if these items carry over to the annual catalog, the bundle pricing doesn't.  And everything I used is extremely versatile, so you can get so much use out of them for almost any occasion.  To order any of these supplies, simply click an image below.

Instructions for Handmade Floral Cards

1. Stamp your lace background in Smoky Slate ink onto your Whisper White panel and secure it to your Pear Pizzazz card base.
2. Place adhesive sheets onto both Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather card stock.
3. Die cut your leaf flourish in Pear Pizzazz using your Well Written framelits as well as your leaf stems.
4. Die cut two flowers, your words and your butterfly in Highland Heather.
5. Cut the “s” off of thanks.
6. Attach all your images, add some rhinestones, and you are done!

Change It Up!

To change this card up to make it more versatile is so easy.  Change your colors and/or change your sentiment.  Imagine this card done in bright greens and yellow, saying “love you”.  Or change it to a deep green and a soft blue flower saying “happy birthday”.  The possibilities are endless!
