DIY Halloween Greeting Cards Roundup – Projects from the Blog!
For some reason this year DIY Halloween greeting cards have been a huge attraction for crafters. Maybe it's all the extra time at home, maybe it's because some people won't be trick-or-treating this year and maybe it's just because there are so many cute Halloween things to make! Either way, here are some Halloween projects you might have missed and would like to try out!
To get the WHOLE scoop on all of these projects, just click on the image and you will be brought right to the post!
First, this card was an easy one to make because using the Halloween saying over and over created that fun background and then all I needed to do was add it again as a highlight. Easy-peasy and cute!
I LOVED this one, too, because I just love using up scraps! There's something about throwing away a perfectly good scrap of card stock that makes me cringe. So using some Halloween-y colors in inks and letters pulled this together quickly.
This one was fun to make with its little corner emphasis and again with a scrap! That little tiny piece of orange scallop was just sitting there leftover from another project and I think it just adds that teeny little something….like a pinch of salt on a chocolate covered pretzel……
And this one with a twist of stamping on patterned paper – also a scrap! Are you sensing a theme other than Halloween? And you can't see it in this photo, but the background texture on this card made it really pop!
And last, another card that uses that great vertical greeting as the focal point – so easy, fun and FAST!
So, are DIY Halloween greeting cards on YOUR list this year? Are you using one of these as your inspiration? Because even if the timing is “trick-y” you can still “treat” someone with a handmade card!
