Friday Flip: Making a Handmade Thank You Card
Welcome to this week's Friday Flip where we will be making a handmade thank you card!
The Friday Flip is all about taking one project idea and FLIPPING it into another. Sometimes it is to take projects I don't love and try to improve upon them. Other times it is because I love the project and want to use that idea over and over again.
So where did the Friday Flip name come from? Well, it started with a popular TV show on HGTV called Flip or Flop. You might have heard of it. It is a couple that flips houses. They look for homes that have good bones and improve upon them. Then they bring in stagers to make the house look fab.
Why do I mention the stagers? Because a childhood friend of mine owns a staging company that has staged many of the homes on Flip or Flop. The owners name is Kevin, he proposed when we were in the 5th grade. It was meant to be. Ahhh, young love. (I'm sure his boyfriend is thrilled that he proposed so many years ago!)
The concept is taking one thing, changing up some of the elements and FLIPPING it into another project. I have been doing this as a paper crafter for years now, and have been teaching to others for just as long.
So let's dive into today's. Here is our inspiration project:
We are going to keep a lot of the elements in the card. Let's watch the Friday Flip video tutorial:
