Friday Flip: How to Make A Handmade Thank You Card
This past year, I started offering the Friday Flip, & most Friday's there is a new Friday Flip episode. This week I am going to share my favorite ones with you.
So what is the Friday Flip? It's where I take one project idea and FLIP it into another. Sometimes I flip a card that I don't like into something I do. But most times, I take a card I LOVE and flip it into another one I LOVE! When you have one hit, why not have two, right?
This card is one from a live class I offered a few years back. I love the texture and the fun little green border. I also loved the color combination, mixing a rich blue with a bright green – all with a bunch of neutral card stock showing as well.
Many of the same elements are staying the same, but there weren't any stamps used on our inspiration card.
The video and the supply list are listed below.
For this Friday Flip Thank You card, I used this stamp set:
I will warn you now, this is a hostess set. Which means that it can be earned, not purchased. So either gather some orders from some friends and contact me, and you can earn this one, save up for a big order so you can earn it, or look to see what you have that you can use instead of this one.
This is my favorite hostess set and one I think everyone needs! It has polka dots on it, how could you not need it?
Let's flip it into a handmade thank you card. It started with picking out the colors. I kept a lot of the neutral from the first card and then added a bunch more. I kept a rich color, this time purple, and changing it to a different green.

See? Many of the elements stayed the same, but several changed as well.
