Because, along with Birthday Cards, this is the kind of card I send the most I thought I would share one of my latest easy handmade thank you cards with you as inspiration. AND I wanted to show off one of the truly beautiful Sale-A-Bration sets, Avant Garden. This is one of those “unsung heroes” I mentioned here in the mac-daddy Sale-A-Bration post.

Let's take a look at the card:

Isn't that really pretty? So cheery and it looks like I spent a ton of time but it truly was one of the most easy handmade thank you cards I have come up with in a while. All you have to do is stamp the flowers and leaves from the Avant Garden set around a space on your card front, add your layered pieces over the space and you are done. I used a Soft Suede square using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and a single stamped sentiment on Whisper White in the center. I just love how the rustic flower style of Avant Garden can be adapted to whatever style YOU like best – countryish like this one or elegant like one I have coming later this week to anything in between. And the size of the images is perfect – they are large enough to stand alone on a card yet small enough to be able to be clustered as they are here.
