Bright and Cheerful Thank You Card

I LOVE bright and cheerful cards. They are my favorites to make. Bright colors are my thing. I love the spring they put in my step, the joy I get using them.

I am willing to bed that you have a favorite color palette as well. We were just talking about this in Stamping Family the other day. What are your go to colors? Do me a favor… after reading this today, leave me a comment and let me know!

So today's card started with a flower that was stamped badly. Out of the 5 petals, I believe a solid 2 got actually stamped. Later on, I will show you that flower-ish.

Which goes to show that stamping doesn't have to be perfect to have a positive effect on yourself and to the recipient of your card.

I used one of my favorite current flower sets, the Simply Fabulous set.

Such a cute stamp set that you can use with any color combination. It has great sentiments in it, but for my card today I went with the Charming Sentiments bundle.

The Project

Enough chatter, let me share this card idea with you.

Cute, right?

As promised, where I messed up a flower was right underneath where the sentiment is. The circle and the banner are covering it up, as the words weren't enough. But that cute circle and banner with the dotted edges help that sentiment pop even more. So a happy accident!

After I stamped all my flowers, then I dry embossed it with the Brick & Mortar embossing folder. It turned out so good!
