Friday Flip: Using Simply Wonderful with Something Lacy (Stampin' Up!)
Happy New Year – and welcome to our first Friday Flip of 2015 where we will be using the Simply Wonderful set with the Something Lacy background, both from Stampin' Up!
As usual, our Friday Flip starts with our inspiration project:
For the sentiment, I went with the Simply Wonderful stamp set. It is an upcoming Stampin' Up!‘s Sale-a-Bration stamp set (which means you cannot buy them, you can only get them for free with a $50 merchandise order) and that begins on January 6th! It was stamped in Rose Red ink onto a Whisper White square. And then I added the Rhinestones on either side.
I am so in love with the new background set called Something Lacy that will debut next Tuesday when the new Occasions catalog goes live. I am a huge fan of background stamps but haven't used them in a while. This is one that when I saw it in the Occasions catalog, I knew I had to have it.
Why did I use Night of Navy card stock? As I was cleaning out my stamp room last week, I came across a TON of Night of Navy card stock, and I want to use a good amount of it up. I wasn't sure how the background of flowers was going to look on the navy, but you never know until you try!
And it looked really good. I paired it with a pop of color of Rose Red, and used very few supplies to create it.
Below are the items that were used, except for the new items that are not available until Jan 6th.
