I was using the 5 Petal Punch for a class I am doing next month and then something in my head told me to double check the retiring list for it, and then I felt like an idiot! I had gone through and separated out my punches into two groups: staying, going. Now, I keep all of my punches, retired or not. And how did I miss this one? Did my mind decide that it really needed to stay instead of retire? I don't know, but I had spent over an hour with this punch on my project, so I felt like 60 minutes worth of being an idiot!
So then my mind started racing – there are so many ways to use this punch, and not all of my stampers know all the different ways that I use it, so I decided to make you a video showing you Five Ways to Use the Five Petal Punch. When I checked this morning, this punch was still available – if you do not have it, you are missing out on one of the most versatile punches ever!
Here is the card I made using the Five Petal Punch to make a huge flower, this is just one of the ways that I show you on the video tutorial. Be sure to watch the video, grab the punch and be in stamping heaven!
Oh, and here is a bonus tip, I also used this punch to make the leaves on the card, that is not even shown in the video.
Ink: So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango
Cardstock: So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Lucky Limeade

Darn it, darn it, darn it – it has already sold out! I just checked again and it is gone!
If there is anything you are wanting off the retiring accessories list, please go grab it right away. And if you are heartbroken that you do not have this punch, take a look at the Fancy Flower Punch, you can do many of these techniques with that flower. I will do another video showing you what you can do with that one!
Thanks so much for this post. I cannot find the video. Could you please tell me how to find it? Thanks!
A beautiful flower. I would love to see the video on how to make it using the 5 petal punch thanks Megan.
I, too, would like to see the video. I’ve used my 5 petal punch for many projects over the years. I can’t BELIEVE they retired it.
