Have you wondered where the blog posts and emails have gone? ME TOO!
Let me share with you what's going on in the I Teach Stamping world.
First, let's chat about emails. A handful of months ago, I was able to determine that several thousands of you have not been getting my emails. Obviously, that's not good.
So after digging and digging into the software I use, I found some issues and “fixed” them. I thought they were fixed, my tech guy for that software thought they were fixed, the company I pay a LOT of money to said it was fixed. Mind you, I found the problem to begin with…
Fast forward several months and the fixes didn't work.
I've been unhappy with that company for about 18 months, and the problems have been increasing over that time. So I've been looking for an alternative.
I've tried several and there is a learning curve to all of it BUT the biggest issue is getting everyone moved to the new server.
With all of this, I decided to wait until Emily went to college so I could spend as much time with her, then afterwards, come back and attack the problem.
And I am waste deep in attacking the problem this week! I've showered, drank a lot of Dr. Pepper, as I write this, I realize I should shave my legs… but I'm working through it with a positive and fierce determination.
That being said, there may be some hiccups, some emails that you get that have wonky links – I am doing my best to check them all, but mistakes will happen.
So I ask that you bear with me as I complete this week feeling victorious and have successfully done my best to complete this huge software move.
My cat, Pixie, has continued to be my faithful companion sitting with me as I export and import, copy and paste, think through processes and white board it all out and check things off my task list.
Wish me luck, my creative friends!!!
XOXO, Meg
Hang in there, Meg!! We LOVE you and think “I Teach Stamping” and “Stamping Family” are wonderful! Praying you are looking forward to taking a “deep breath” soon and will be happy this project is complete (tho always “a work in progress”)… and relaxing a bit.
I love technology when it works but when it doesn’t I just hate it as I’ve no clue what is wrong!!! Being as tenacious as you are I applaud all your hard work. Thanks for being there
You’re awesome!!!
All part of the process. Consider the alternative! I’m not sure which email you use. I think I mostly get them at work (dlail@steelerubber.com), but will list my personal email below.
Glad to see you back on line.
Thanks!
