I LOVE the Wanted to Say dies! I have found that many stampers have missed these when thumbing through the catalog whether looking online or holding the catalog their hands.

The words in this die set are Happy Birthday, You're Too Kind, Feel Better Soon, and Celebrate. Then there are images that are hearts, stars, flowers, a stem, a present, and a bow.

You will get so much use out of it! Let me show it to you:

The one supply I can't recommend enough for layering word dies like this are Adhesive Sheets. They are easy to use and save you so much frustration later on.

To use an adhesive sheet, all you do is pull off the backing of the Adhesive Sheet and add it to your card stock. Then you die cut it. I recommend running it through your die cutting machine twice. So simply go forward and backward with the die and you should be good to go.

Then it makes your die cut card stock into a die cut sticker. Remove the backing and you are done! It's so much easier than using liquid glue.

The Project

I've been on a birthday card kick here lately, and this is just the most recent. I went with a Note Card and Envelope for it.

I used an Adhesive Sheet behind my Basic White card stock, then die cut it with the top die layer. Peel the backing off and add it to the lower layer die cut out of Basic Black card stock.

A dry embossed strip of Basic White card stock is layered onto a Tahitian Tide layer and added onto your note card.

Use Dimensionals to add your words to your dry embossing. Finish the card with a rhinestone and a bow tied from this darling Black and White Gingham Ribbon.

Take it up a notch and add some coordinating patterned paper to your envelope flap.

Quick, easy, and affordable! What you will save by using Note Cards helps offset the cost of the dies. And do you see how that ink splatter background helps those words pop? It's those little details that really take a card from simple to wow in seconds!
