Stampin' Up!'s Vintage Vogue is retiring (a moment of silence, please) and I am sad. This is one set that was a "I have to buy this right now or else my world will quit spinning". And I have used the heck out of it. I love the big F with "friends" on the spine of the F. I love the border and I think you get the idea. Believe it or not, I use this set for not only bright and cheery cards but also for sympathy cards. Are you a scrapper? A-Mazing set for scrapping.
Now that is what I am drawn to, versatility. I want to use anything crafty that I buy at least 15 ways or don't show it to me. I believe in getting my money's worth out of my goodies.
Today's sketch was fun – I had a hard time with what the upper right hand corner should be, but – as usual – ribbon solved that problem. Another hard thing for me was using one of my beloved clips on this card. Another moment of silence for the clips. Do you have Stampin' Up!'s Clips? I have about a dozen emtpy containers of clips and just bought three more before they disappear into the great papercrafting utopia.
Ok, this warrants a new paragraph…
Stampin' Up!'a Clips: I use them on my papercrafts and for my "work" stuff, like paperwork. I see it like this, if you have to do paperwork, at least make it cute. And the clips are super cute, I love the little round fat paperclips that are in there. They are the perfect size, like they have chubby cheeks that you have to squeeze! Am I the only one that gets giggly over cute office supplies?
Onto the card:
I kept it simple. Simple with fun accents.

To order any of your supplies, you can use the links above or go to my online store. I am sad to see Stampin' Up!'s Vintage Vogue go and the clips, and if you feel the same way, be sure to grab them while you still can!
You are NOT the only one to get all mushy over office supplies! Would rather shop for office supplies than clothes! Only shoes would trump office supplies:) Love these clips and so sorry they are retiring:( Hopefully something fun will take their place!
I love your color combination on this card! So Lovely! =)
Pretty card, Meg! I love Vintage Vogue, too.
Loved this card. Made it right up myself only changed it up a teeney bit by stamping Happy Mother’s Day on it instead of the other sentiment. Came out nice. Going to give it to my niece. Thanks again Megan for your great ideas between this site and especially VIP Program the craftroom is a humming, lol
