Using Stampin' Up!'s Starburst Sayings To Make a Handmade Card (Retiring List)
Today you will see a fun handmade card you can make using Stampin' Up's Starburst Sayings stamp set (this set is on the retiring list).
I love all occasion cards, and this one fits the bill. You can give this for a graduation card, birthday card, retirement, anything really.
It started simple. I used a color combination from Stamping Family.
Then I stamped my sentiment and the little whirlygig using the Starburst Sayings Stamp Set and then die cut them using the Starburst Framelits. Both the stamp set and framelits are retiring, as is the special bundle pricing!
Below is a list of all the supplies used to create this card, and I put the bundles as Quick Order Links too.
So here are the stamped/die cut pieces:
For the middle of the whirlygig thingy, I used a Brights Candy Dot in Daffodil Delight:
For a pop of texture, I added a strip of Back to Black paper and backed it with some Smoky Slate card stock. Without it being there, the patterned paper looked a little lost.
I added a strip of Basic Black card stock across the middle of the card to help break up all the white.
And then a bow was tied using some Daffodil Delight cotton ribbon.
If you struggle at all with tying bows, then be sure to grab a 10 Second Bow Maker!
And just like that, this card is done!
Here are the supplies I used to create this hand made card using Stampin' Up!'s Starburst Sayings from the retiring list.
Quick Order Product List
Remember with the retiring list, accessories are while supplies last! Stamps will be that way later in May, but if you like these stamps and framelits, I would grab them now in the bundle!

This card just makes me smile! So cheerful and eyecatching. Thanks for playing along with Mojo Monday!
