My Top Three Picks from the New 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalog

Now that I have had a chance to really look at everything and get some items in my hands, I want to share with you my top three picks from the new 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalog.  Hopefully by now hopefully you have all had a chance to pore over the new catalog and have sticky notes or pieces of paper sticking out all over the place.  Well, trust me, I do the SAME THING! So here they are:

1. Watercolor Wash StampWatercolr Wash StampAt first glance this stamp might not look like much but I am pretty sure that this will become everyone's “Little Black Dress” stamp for this year.  You can use this stamp to add texture, depth or just a background filler in any color, stamped off for a paler version, turned any which way, partially stamped – I could go on and on.  If you've ever had a project and felt like the background was a little – well – “naked” this stamp will be the lifesaver every time.

2. Tags & Labels Framelits – I am so happy Stampin' Up! came out with this set of these lightweight but super strong wafer steel dies!  With two shapes that nest and layer in infinite combinations this will be a set that you will use over and over and never run out of ideas.  And these shapes lend themselves to any type of project so they can easily be incorporated into just about any design. If you are looking to start out a Framelit collection or are looking to add to the one you have this should be number one on your list.

Sprinkles of Life Stamp Settree builder3. Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set and the Tree Builder Punch – OK, that's two.  But seriously, how stinkin' ADORABLE are these two together?  Anytime I can get a punch that coordinates so beautifully with a stamp, I take a second look because that's a project that is partway done for you?  Who wants to fussy cut those tiny shapes?  But you want 'em, right?  And this set is just adorable and can be used for multiple occasions – there are seven different themed greetings in that set alone and combined with others, well, between the cupcakes, the ice cream cones, the pies and the trees, you're covered for a while!  Plus this stamp set is this year's Ronald McDonald House set so your purchase not only fills YOUR stamping “bucket” but helps raise funds for children with cancer and their families in supporting them through their illness and recovery.  What more could you ask for?
