Sweet Card Using Blending Brushes

Warning, this is a super sweet card!!!  And it's easy to make!

One of my favorite Sale-a-Bration items this round are the Hippo Dies.  Don't get me wrong, I also like the Hippest Hippos coordinating stamp set, but I love the dies so much more!  It's such a great summertime die set, even leaving the hippos out.

Today I am using the umbrella die.  It's a smaller die, with so many possibilities.  Let me show you the whole set of dies.  Keep in mind that this is a SAB item, so it can only be earned with a purchase of $50 in merchandise – and only while supplies last.

The Project

I have a friend that's under the weather right now, so she has been on my mind.  Starting with that, under the weather… umbrellas… yep – that works.  Here's where I took it:

BUT, let's take two seconds and talk about Blending Brushes.  Some see the price tag and have a mini heart attack – BUT don't do that.  Let's chat.  These brushes are washable!  And they don't leave all their bristles on your project!  So as long as you are investing in good quality brushes that you can wash and use with different colors, it's all good.  They will stain, but as long as you wash them through, you can change colors and create great things.
