Stitched Rectangles Dies to Make a Handmade Card
Today we are using Stitched Rectangles Dies to make a handmade card AND we are using up card stock scraps at the same time!
This card is one your can make in minutes with just a handful of supplies.
Let me share the card with you.
The Project
Here is our simple card, where we are using Stitched Rectangles Dies to make a handmade card.
I love the bright colors on this card, but of course you can use whatever colors you would like.
The Supplies
As I said above, this project doesn’t need a lot of supplies. Below is a list of what I used to create this card. To order any of these supplies, simply click on an image below.
The Making
To begin this card, grab your card stock scraps and get to cranking out stitched rectangles. I used the die set listed above. That die set has two sets of nested dies and then one odd ball one that isn’t part of the nested sets. That odd ball one is the one I used.
Then you will want to die cut a white rectangle as well that will hold your sentiment.
Stamp your sentiment in a coordinating color.
Arrange your rectangles on a piece of white card stock (4” x 5-1/4”) and trim off any pieces that are overhanging this panel.
Wrap Linen Thread around this panel and finish off with a bow. If you struggle at all with tying bows, or just don’t like tying them, then be sure to grab a 10 Second Bow Maker here. You can wrap your Linen Thread around your panel twice, use a separate piece of Linen Thread to tie a bow and then stick the bow onto your card using either liquid glue or a glue dot.
All of these layers get added to another piece of white that is 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”.
That’s all!!!
Easy, simple, fun, and like I said above, a great way to use up scraps!
Be sure to pin this image so you can easily find it again 🙂

What a great way to use my scraps. Thanks for sharing.
I just LOVE scrap cards!
I love a good project to use up tiny scraps, I hate throwing anything away. This is perfect!
I hate throwing out scraps of paper too so this is such a great card to try. Thanks for sharing it. #HomeMattersParty
