I love sketches – like totally love them – so when Stamping Family was being built, it was a must that there were sketch inspirations for our members. The Stamping Family Sketch Inspiration section is one of the most visited sections of the entire site.
Today I just loaded number 106 into the Stamping Family site! And I am often asked if we take down the previous sketches, and we don't. So all of the are there for our members all the time 🙂
It's been a while since I have shared a recent sketch from Stamping Family – and now that we have the new blog that is functioning properly – I knew I had to share this latest one with you all here.
Here is the sketch…
What I love about this one is that it is very basic. There is so much creative flexibility with it, so many ways to customize it for what you need.
I knew I wanted to use striped ribbon – and patterned paper with it. But I struggled with where to put the sentiment then. So I decided to go vertical!
That is the beauty of sketches. Many stampers think they have to follow it exactly as it is. Nope :). It's yours to do what you want with it.
Here is my take on last week's sketch:
So even though it is not exactly as the sketch is, you can still see the elements of the sketch in the card. This one came together quickly by using patterned paper, some ribbon and a simple sentiment.
If you are a member of Stamping Family, this week's new sketch is freshly posted and ready for you. If you are not a member, be sure to check us out here – we are a fun group, sweet, and talented!
OK, off to create for the newest Stamping Family Sketch Inspiration!
