Stampin' Up!'s Wondrous Wreath with Festival Of Trees  – Paper Crafts Idea

Today's paper crafts idea is a handmade card using Wondrous Wreath with the Festival of Trees sets from Stampin' Up!  I promised to share with you some Christmas card ideas as I work to pick which one(s) I will be sending out this year.  Even though there are a lot of supplies used, don't worry, the entire supply list is at the bottom.

Whether you are a new paper crafter/card maker, this card is an easy one to make.  There are places that you can scale it up and add more, or keep it very simple.

Let me show you what I am talking about…

For the focal point, I used the Festival of Trees stamp set and the Tree Punch from Stampin' Up!  These two items are available as a bundle and I love bundles – that means more money freed up to buy ribbon and other fun accessories.  The tree was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink and punched out with that fab Tree Punch.  It was layered onto a Real Red 2-1/2″ Circle that I dry embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  (This is something you don't have to do if you don't have the Big Shot!)

Here is the Festival of Trees stamp set and Tree Punch – aren't they gorgeous?!?!?

That circle was attached to a strip of Whisper White card stock that has the sentiment from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set from Stampin' Up! (We will use this set again in a moment.)  The sentiment is also stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.  The Wondrous Wreath stamp set is also available in a bundle.  And since I am about saving money, I listed as a bundle below but did not use the framelits for this set.

Check out this stamp set/framelit bundle:

Behind that strip of Whisper White you will find two rows of Hello Honey card stock that I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch on.

Those layers were then added to a piece of Whisper White that was dry embossed using the new On Point embossing folder, also from Stampin' Up!  (Again, this is a step you can eliminate.)

Add some Mossy Meadow satin ribbon around the top and attach a double loop bow tied with the 10 Second Bow Maker – and you are all but done!

10 Second Bow Maker

When you order the 10 Second Bow Maker, you get access to training videos that will teach you how to create fun bows like the double loop bow.

Another bow was added to the project, this time it was a single loop bow tied with Baked Brown Sugar Baker's Twine and again, the 10 Second Bow Maker was used.

Finish off the front of your card by adding it to a Real Red card base.

For the inside, it is time to stamp the remaining sentiment from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set – and I also stamped the poinsettia in Real Red ink next to the sentiment.

Look at all the layers and textures of this card – you get so much oomph by adding some dry embossing, the baker's twine, the satin ribbon and dimensionals!
