Today's card features Stampin' Up!'s You're Amazing Stamp set to make an easy birthday card and I made a video tutorial to go with it. I so needed the bright colors to help me wake up this morning. I have gone into the kitchen three times this morning to refill my coffee mug and left the mug in my stamp room. Ugh!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I learned a new way to spell a word this weekend from Emily. She colors and draws and writes letters to her dolls and animals – she lives in her own little fun world. Over the weekend, she was writing her own biography (they were learning about biographies in school last week) and she kept writing “Osm” this and “Osm” that. I was about to ask her about it, when I could hear my own voice in my head saying “sound it out” like I tell her when she asks me what a word is. So I did – ahhhsssmmmmm. I love this new way to spell awesome! It is shorter and still makes perfect sense.
What was not osm was remembering at the last minute that I needed a birthday card this morning. Do you ever remember at the last minute that you need one of these, or are you a planner that never forgets such items and look down upon us that “can't ever seem to remember a birthday”? If you ever need one, here is a quick one, but it looks like you spent a lot of time on it.

Love the card and envelope. I’ve seen circles used as balloons before but they never looked like balloons until you introduced the owl foot!!! That is so clever and looks so good. I’m already thinking of all of the oval and round punches that I can turn into balloons!
Thanks for another great idea!

Terrific birthday card! I LOVE the balloons.
That’s just ingenious using those little birdy feet as part of the balloons! Love this card.. it just looks so happy and fun!
