I wanted to start my week with an easy card to make so I jumped right to my Wicked Cool stamp set from Stampin' Up! This is an easy card that doesn't look so easy but it only uses one stamp set and one ink pad. And as I often say to myself, "I love my Big Shot!" and it sure came in handy with this easy card. To make this card, I started with my Scallop Square Duo Die from Stampin' Up! By die cutting that first, it make figuring out the rest of my measurements easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy. Here is an example:
It is 4 1/8" from top tip of the square (that I have rotated to a diamond) to the bottom tip. So I knew my lucky limeade needed to be 4 1/8" tall, and my card base was 4 1/4" tall, so I came in 1/8" of an inch. That meant that the width would come in an 1/8" also, making it 5 3/8". Does that make sense? I hope so, I am still on my first cup of coffee this morning. And then I just went from there for the rest of my layers.

Quick Update on everything:
I am feeling great! Thank you all again for all your super sweet words and I met a lot of you at the Creating Keepsakes Convention that asked me how I was feeling and I appreciate that. I hardly ever post if I am sick, but since it went on for such a while, I wanted to let you know what was going on.
The Creating Keepsakes Convention was a lot of fun, I met some super fun stampers and scrappers! The person I met that traveled the farthest was from New Zealand – can you believe that? AND get this (this is a total pat on the back for me) I was her first booth to visit because she wanted to know more about my VIP Program, she asked me, she joined and she watched her video classes on the flight back home – that is amazing!
It was so awesome also to see so many people at our booth that swore that our 10 Second Bow Maker™ could not even help them – and then within 2-3 minutes they were tying gorgeous bows – to see the smiles on those faces was priceless!
Many of my downline that I have never met were there, that was great to meet them! Many of my VIP members that I have never met were there – it was incredible who all I got to meet!
That is why I stayed in bed an extra two days resting for this, there was no way I was going to miss doing the convention for nuttin'!
My VIP'ers: Your Scrapbook Class for September will begin loading later today.
OK, I have got to go warm up my cup of coffee, clean up my mess from my Wicked Cool card and get to creating!
See you all tomorrow with more! Oh – and think of this card as merely a template – I used Stampin' Up!'s Wicked Cool to make this easy card – what do you think you could use?
