Stampin' Up!'s Petite Pairs stamp set has such a great array of sentiments, I do think that every card maker needs this set, especially when you need easy cards to make. I started with my flowers, it was easy to go with polka dot DSP, Monday morning came way too early and it is overcast and gloomy here, so bright and cheery was the way to go, or else I was going right back into my pj's and going back to bed!
"Do wah diddy diddy dum diddy do" was my internal song this morning, stuck in my brain for some reason, as I big shotted out my polka dot flowers. Why on earth is that song stuck in my head today?
This card is super easy to make – seriously easy to make, it just has a couple more steps than a simple card that you would make that looks similar. So what are the things I added to step up this card? See that little strip of Real Red? I originally did not have that layer, added it – and it helps tie the whole card together. Then the ribbon was not there originally – gotta love what ribbon can do to a card. Then Emily saw the card and asked, "Where is the bling?" Now, let me see if I can type her inflection to what she said and have this make sense… It was like this, 'Mommmm', insert long sigh and an eye roll…, 'Where is the bling?'. Insert thought, "Can my mom do anything without my help or do I have to do it all?" Then she giggled and ran out of the room.
Three little changes made a huge difference to this card!
