Stampin Up's Hello Again {Retiring Stamp Set}
Today I am sharing a project from a favorite stamp set of mine – it's Stampin Up's Hello Again – and it is retiring 🙁
Yesterday I shared a very personal story about my sweet friend, Yvonne. I shared how stamping is very therapeutic for me, and this card is a perfect example of this.
Imagine what our world would like if every time we thought of a friend we sent a card?
That would be a crazy awesome world, right?
This stamp set is simply perfect for just reaching out to a friend and letting them know they are on your mind.
Here is the stamp set:
The Color Palette
For the color palette, I mixed In Colors – two that are staying and one retiring – the Dapper Denim is retiring 🙁 Dapper Denim is my favorite out of that group of In Colors.
The Sentiment Layers
I started my stamping the sentiment in Lemon Lime Twist. I punched it out with a 1-1/4″ Circle Punch. I initially punched the Smoky Slate piece with the 1-3/8″ Circle Punch, but it was too small, so I punched again with a 1-1/2″ Circle Punch.
For some added punch, I added a leaf in Lemon Lime Twist and another punched piece of Berry Burst in the Everyday Label Punch.

The Background
After I had all of that done, then I worked on the background. The mosaic stamp is one of my faves in this set – it's just a great way to offset your focal point. In this card, it helps the sentiment layer really pop. After I stamped that in Dapper Denim, it still needed something.
I grabbed my go-to Timeless Textures stamp set and my Lemon Lime Twist and went to town. As I was stamping that, I kept putting the sentiment layer in place so that I could see where else I needed little splatters.
Finishing Touches
I opted to add some silver thread behind my sentiment layer. Sometimes all a card needs is a little metallic touch, not too much, just a bit of shimmer that it adds. Then all you have to do is drop it on the Berry Burst card base and you set!
What is Retiring?
From this project, the Dapper Denim color is retiring, so is the Hello Friend stamp set. Everything else is staying. You can see the entire retiring list here.
