Stampin' Up!'s Gnome Sweet Gnome got dusted off to make today's video tutorial. It is not that I don't like the stamp, but it is more spring-y than winter-y. And today we are enjoying the most incredible day. It is sunny, 62 degrees and just perfect. It feels like a spring day! My neighbor accross the street is starting his garden, getting ready to plant flowers. So when I started to stamp today, I knew this was the set.
Someone asked me earlier where I get my inspiration from and this is a great example. A lot of what I do comes from how I am feeling. If it is bright outside, I tend to use bright colors. If it is rainy, I tend to go more towards the regals. I choose my stamps the same way. I see my neighbor gardening, and I want to do gardening my way, with stamps! And a lot of what I create comes from necessity. If I need a birthday card made, I typically will create it and share it with you on my blog. So it counts as work and item off my personal to do list – it's like double dipping! I also get a lot of inspiration from you all! I make a lot of projects based off of comments that you leave, so keep leaving them!
It also hit me today that we are rapidly getting close to the end of Sale-a-Bration 2012 – ACK! Do you have all the SAB items that you want? Remember, the exclusive items retire FOREVER after March 31st! I am stocking up on all the Everyday Enchantment DSP that I can – it is just so pretty. Remember, with every $50 in merchandise that you purchase through my online store, you earn a Sale-a-Bration item. It is that simple! So be sure to get to gettin' while you can!
