Stampin' Up!s Gnome Sweet Gnome Hand Made Card

My sister is petrified of garden gnomes, I keep trying to convince her that they are cute, and who could be afraid of Stampin' Up!'s Gnome Sweet Gnome stamps used on a hand made card? This set has gone a little unloved these past couple of weeks, so I grabbed it today to show it some love.

Did you know that if you hold your Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set up to your ear, you can hear it say, "Watercolor Me!!!" Never one to argue with a stamp set that can mimic the ocean in a sea shell, I grabbed my watercolor paper and Aqua Painters, a full cuppa coffee and away I went.

So let's take a look at this card as I break it down for you:

First, I started with a larger piece of Watercolor Paper than I needed. I stamped with Black Staz-On the grass and cute toadstools all along the bottom. Next I stamped the wheel barrow, added the flowers, dropped the girly on the right and popped a watering can in her hand.

The layers behind it include some dry embossed….

Wait, I want to start a new word, one of the items on my bucket list is to have a word that I create (those of you that really know me know that I love to create my own words) get approved by Webster's Dictionary. If Rachel Ray can get EVOO in the dictionary, I want BSEF – Big Shot Embossing Folder(s) – in there too. So how do I pronounce it, just like it looks bsef (bee – sef).

Ok, back to the card… Grab your Snowburst BSEF and do the Whisper White Strips, layer those on Pear Pizzazz strips, layer all of that on some Twitterpated DSP.

Then run, don't walk, (unless you are holding scissors) and grab the new Fabric Brads from the Summer Smooches product suite and get that green bad boy outta there. And please remember that you can only get these brads this month!
