Stampin' Up!'s Creative Elements stamp set can help you make an easy card, especially when you are in a hurry. Why in a hurry? Last month when I was not feeling great, I messed up my calendar – I thought my mom was coming this weekend and my mother in law next weekend – NOPE! They are both coming this weekend – and they both have birthday's in the next couple of weeks.
While I am finalizing the final video for my VIP Program on my computer and it is doing it's thing, I was over stamping and making birthday cards!
Oh, and before you worry, my mom and mother in law get along great – so no World War III approaching.
But, I am still a little behind in my work (which is the best work ever!) and when it hit me yesterday that they were both arriving in less than 48 hours – ack! And me with a messy house, a messy kid and a husband that is just a mess – and don't even get me started on me – and I have to have their birthday gifts ready!
Moving on away from my rambling – I grabbed the Creative Elements Stamp Set, a little Rich Razzleberry and my Simply Scored and away I went!
For the sentiment, I used the Delightful Dozen stamp set (a must have in my books!) and some White Embossing Powder and ta-da!
Supplies Used to create this Creative Elements Card:
Stamps: Creative Elements (wm: 122645 cm: 122647), Delightful Dozen (wm: 122650 cm: 122652)
Ink: Rich Razzleberry (126950), Versamark (102283)
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry (115316), Soft Suede (115318), Very Vanilla (101650)
Accessories: Victoria Lace (118481), Simply Scored (122334), Diagonal Plate for Simply Scored (125586), 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch (118874), 1 3/4" Circle Punch (119850), Pearl Jewels (119247), Heat Tool (129053), Embossing Buddy (103083), White Embossing Powder (109132), Paper Piercing Tool (126189)
Here is a hint: I stamped the flourish on the Soft Suede in Versamark before I used my diagonal plate for the scoring. If you try to stamp it after, well, let's just say it is not a great idea 🙂
If you need to make easy cards, you can order any of these supplies by clicking the links above and you can be making these cards next week! I hope that you enjoy the easy cards I made for my mom and mother in law for their birthdays using Stampin' Up!'s Creative Elements!
So, so elegant. I think the lace “skirting” gives it such a fabulous touch; a softness that works well with the geometry of the scoring.
Beautiful Megan, very nice, glad to see you are feeling better. I must add the VIP Progam OMG, so nice. Thank you, thank you, thank you…. Good come back girl, must be a Texas thing, just kidding I only say that because I was born in Houston…. must be a Dr. Pepper thing…yep that’s it, lol…
Megan How do you become a YIP member? I have seen it on your blog so many times, curious. By the way Love the card. Sounds easy but I need a video sometimes, which you do and they are useful and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing. Sandi- Harpers Ferry WV
