Today's handmade card features Stampin' Up!'s Best of Everything stamp set, and I also used Bright Blossoms and Thank You Kindly.  I wanted to make a bright card, (bright colors are my favorite!) and I really wanted to use the Summer Smooches DSP from Stampin' Up!

I am going to do things a bit different today, so please leave me comments on how you like it.

Best of Everything, Summer Smooches, Stampin' Up!How this card came to be:

1.  First, I knew I wanted bright colors and I knew I wanted to use the Summer Smooches DSP.  So I picked out which pattern of DSP I wanted to use and that gave me my colors.

2.  I wanted a top layer that did not fill the entire front of the card.  So I used Whisper White and then made a frame for that using my Simply Scored on my Real Red card base.

3.  Texture was a must on this card, but not too much texture since there is a busy DSP pattern.  I initially used the Houndstooth Embossing Folder, and it was too much, so back to ol' faithful: Perfect Polka Dots!  So you can see those polka dots on the Real Red.

4.  "Thanks" by itself on the Whisper White circle was to plain, but the flowers from Bright Blossoms were too big for the 1 3/4" Circle Punch if you use the vase.  Then it popped in my mind that Stampin' Up!'s Best of Everything has the perfect flower to go with this card.  I used my Daffodil Delight and Lucky Limeade Markers for the flower.

Best of everything close
5.  Next I knew that I wanted some sort of "frame" around the words, but I was not in a scallop circle mood.  So my Whisper White Waffle Paper was perfect!  It adds so much, don't you think?

6.  Then a cute bow with a Brights Button to finish it off!

7.  Then I stared at it, and something was missing, it is so dang hard for me to leave things alone!  I decided to use my Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch on a strip of Daffodil Delight and tucked it under the left side, another little touch to make a huge difference!

8.  Then I stared at it even longer and decided that I needed a coordinating envelope for this card!  That is super easy and adds such a WOW to a card.
