Stampin Up Rose Wonder | Retiring Stampin' Up! Product

The other day I shared with you one of my favorite items that is retiring, the Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder stamp set, and that I won't be getting rid of.  I also promised to share more items with you that will be staying with me.  If you missed that post, you can read it here.

Today we are focusing on the Stampin Up Rose Wonder stamp set.  Now, know that this set does have a coordinating set of framelits – in full disclosure, I do believe I only used them once.  So if you are a “complete set” kinda person, know they are available.

For me though, the reason I bought this stamp set is because of the words.  I love the phrases, I love the mixing of the fonts – I really could care less about the images.

Also, in full disclosure, I liked this set so much, I actually bought two of them.  Yay me!

Here is the stamp set and below it is the set of framelits.  (I am the odd ball that didn't use the framelits – most everyone else has I believe.)

One of the my favorite stamps in that set is the You're In My Thoughts & Prayers.  With the mixing of the fonts in this one, I love that you can use this for both a masculine and feminine card.  Which when it comes to sentiments is most always not the case!

In the post the other day, I also gushed on some ribbon – it is the Smoky Slate gingham ribbon.  At the time that I am writing this, it is still available.  I have stocked up – it is such a versatile ribbon!!!

This is a card you can make in minutes, btw…

Steps to Creating

Step 1: Cut down your card stock.

  • Dapper Denim:  4-1/4″ x 11″; 2-1/4″ x 2-3/4″
  • Whisper White:  4″ x 5-1/4″; 2″ x 2-1/2″
  • Smoky Slate:  2-1/2″ x 3″

Step 2:  Dry emboss your Whisper White 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel

Step 3:  Stamp your sentiment

Step 4:  Add your ribbon and tie a single knot around it

Step5:  Assemble your layers

That's it!

See why the sentiments make this set a home run?!?!

The Supplies

Here are the supplies I used to create this card, I added in the framelits in case you want them, they are pretty!  To order any of the items, simply click a picture below:

Please remember that both the stamp set and the framelits are only while supplies last – as is the ribbon, as is the Dapper Denim color.  So don't wait to put in your order 🙂

OK, so we have now added the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and the Rose Wonder stamp set to the list of must-haves-that-I-won't-part-with.  Tomorrow I will share the paper that is crazy enough still available – and another one I stocked up on!  See you then!
