Stampin Up Picture Perfect Birthday
One of my favorite images in the entire Occasions 2018 catalog is the two-step stamped image of the gift bow in the Stampin Up Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set.
I don't know why it strikes me to much, but it just does. I love that you can mix deeper colors for the shadow part of the bow or you can stamp in a neutral as I did.
Here is the stamp set and I have the arrow pointing to the two stamps I am talking about:
When you use those two together, you create this one image:
The Color Palette
For this project, I started with the Picture Perfect Paper and pulled in colors from that. That is my favorite way to pick colors is to start with patterned paper. That is how I picked the colors for my stamped bows:
The Sentiment and Ribbon
I was looking for was a large birthday sentiment and went with the Birthday Wishes for You stamp set. It's on the first page of the Occasions catalog. It's great to stamp alone or also to stamp and color in. But then came in how to wrap the ribbon with the measurements and not cover up the sentiment – and I love the solution I came up with…
Do you see how the slit in the card stock? Since the only letter that “goes below the line” I was able to still add that yummy Berry Burst ribbon. Simply use your paper trimmer to make this happen! It's a cute solution 🙂
The Supplies
There are no crazy supplies needed to make this one at all. With it being such a simple card, it is one you can easily make a lot of these cards, all you need are the supplies.
All you need to do is click on an image below to order any of them and earn Sale-a-Bration rewards:
To complete this card, I used the little banner from the Birthday Wishes for You set onto just a little 1/2″ strip of Whisper White. It is layered onto a 3/4″ strip of the same patterned paper. Then there is plenty of writing room as well.
Who would you send this card to? I started a list and it kept on growing and growing! Bonus idea – all you have to do is change out the sentiment to another large sentiment and you have any type of celebratory card! Do you see why I love that image from the Stampin Up Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set? (I can't wait to use it on Christmas tags 🙂
Ok, so go take a moment, order what you need to and be sure to check back as I will continue to share more project ideas use the Stampin Up Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set and the Birthday Wishes For you set.
Which stamp do you stamp first? Thanks.
