Stampin Up Counting Sheep
Today we are making an adorable card using the Stampin Up Counting Sheet stamp set and Sheep Dies. These two Sale-a-Bration items are so much fun to craft with – and the possibilities are endless!
I used quite a few supplies, and the full list is below – but the main items I used are the Counting Sheep stamp set and the Sheep Dies. Both of these are 2021 Fall Sale-a-Bration items that are only available though the end of this month. The other main items I used were the Blending Brushes to create the fun tag background for our scene to sit on.
Let me start with sharing the Sale-a-Bration items I used:
Adorable, right?
But the card turned even more adorable!
See what I mean? The dry embossed Basic White panel using the Timeworn Type embossing folder adds just the right amount of texture for our card base. (I love that folder so much – it's from the Holiday catalog and I have no idea if we will see it again after that catalog retires.)
Then using Blending Brushes, you can add so much depth on your die cut stitched-edged tag. Just some Balmy Blue on top and Granny Apple Green on the bottom of the tag – and you've created the perfect layers to add your shapes.
And look close at that fence. It's die cut and embossed! It's all on that one die – you don't have to do anything special to it, one turn of the handle and you have both die cutting and embossed done for it!
Use your Stampin Up Counting Sheep stamp set and dies to stamp and cut out your cutie patootie sheep.
Some clouds, a sun, some quick highlighting of coloring with some Stampin' Blends, a cute balloon with a Linen Thread bow (tied with the 10 Second Bow Maker) and this card is complete!
The inside of the card is blank so you can add any sentiment that works for you.
I could sit and make dozens of these cards, I find coloring, blending, and assembling so relaxing!
The Supplies
To make this card for yourself, here is a full list of the supplies I used. Remember that the stamp set and the Sheep Dies are only available during SAB – and the dies are only available while supplies last. Each $50 increment of your order earns you a free item. Be sure to use the host code when you order to earn free tutorials from me.

You're stopping by means the world to me. Creating for you is such a treat for me. Who would have known that 18 years ago I would start a small business that's fulfilled with your product orders and it allows me to continue to share project idea after project idea with you! Thank you!! XOXO, Meg
I love your cards. The Christmas card with Northern lights is very attractive. I like the unChristmas colors!! Great job.
Thank you so much Sue!!!
The sheep is so sweet! Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
I agree – so adorable! You make each card like a work of art with Stampin’ Up. 18 years – wow! Congrats. I used to be a consultant many moons ago so definitely appreciate the effort that goes in to making each card. #HomeMattersParty
