I have been stamping for over a dozen years now, and my Emily has been stamping for about 3 years now.  She is 5 1/2 years old, and the 1/2 is very important to her.  Imagine my delight today when Emily said that she needed to make a card.  Not wanted to, but needed to!  I know that feeling all too well!

Then she looked at me and said, "Let's make a video!"  Sounds good to me.  But I have been asked why she likes to make them.  First, she watches me make them all the time, a lot of the time she is standing quietly right next to me when I am making a video.  Second, she likes that our family can watch her stamping.  Our closest family is 180 miles away and we share videos back and forth to help keep contected to them.

Now, I still do not know who this card is for.  She saw a card in my stamp room and wanted to do something "better".  She knew she wanted a big flower and she knew exactly what she wanted it to say.

Here is a picture of Emily with her card:

EmilyHere are the supplies she used to make it:

I love the ideas that she had for this card – she came up with it all on her own!  And I love how it turned out!  Please take a moment and leave her a comment below.
