I can't believe how much wow a simple paper frame added to this card! Remember this post with the gorgeous daisy paper? Well I used the frame I had left over from cutting out the center and, well, look at how it just makes this card!

A Simple Paper Frame Makes This Card

Honestly, I am planning to do this a lot more often! What happened was I had a card front cut and realized that I was going to be covering up a lot of the patterned paper with a panel. Instead of wasting all that pretty paper behind the panel, I decided to cut out the center and let the “underpanel” show through. I got the same effect and got a whole ‘nother card out of my piece of pretty paper. And so this simple paper frame became a focal point AND a money saver! #doublebonus!

Here's another peek so you can see how even though that die cut jumps off the page, it truly is flat!

What Do a Simple Paper Frame and a Die Cut Have in Common

I just love how the yellow die cut works so well with the yellow centers on that daisy paper. And than that teeny tiny bit of bling takes it from cute to gorgeous. This card was SO fast to make, too, so it's awesome for “batch” card making.

Here are the other products I used to make this card – and remember, that awesome Daisy punch is back in stock so you can help yourself to anything and everything from the Delightful Daisy Suite on page 127:
