A Simple Greeting Card – Yet Stunning!

So right up front I am going to share that this simple greeting card used VERY few items and took less than 20 minutes. But I thin you will agree that it is simply stunning. Let's take a look:

A Simple Greeting Card featuring texture and a sunflower focal element is just stunning!

Right? Who knew a simple greeting card could just be so beautiful? Adding texture, using white on white, and then that pop of color on the bottom third give the eye so much space to soak it in with that bright focal point calling all the attention. That Tasteful Textile embossing folder is – I know, I say it about SO many of them! – is one of my favorites! I just LOVE that soft, overall texture it adds to ANY project! You can see it up close here.

This super closeup of the focal element on this Simple Greeting Card shows why this card is so gorgeous!

And I am sure you know what I am going to say – lol! Yes, that Bumblee patterned paper is a leftover from another project. I just love saving those trimmings because I KNOW I will find a perfect use for it later! ONE image stamped and cut out with ONE die, colored with Stampin' Blends and popped up with dimensional adhesive – when you have an image as striking and detailed as this, it's all you need!

And because I wanted to be able to use this simple greeting card for an unknown occasion, I just colored the word “wonderful” with my marker, stamped it on a scrap of Whisper White card stock and cut it into a banner. Now I can send it to anyone wonderful for any wonderful occasion!

Proof that a Simple Greeting Card does NOT have to be boring - come get the details!
