My favorite ribbon storage idea is a spice rack.  It hangs from a bar and will hold a lot!  It is the same bar that I hang my punches on.  So it is like a double dip, a two-fer, two birds with one stone.  And, you are able to purchase more than one as your ribbon stash increases.  Pictured to the side is just one of mine. 

You can find these at my favorite blue store, IKEA.  I am sure that you can get them at most places that sell different storage ideas.

It stores flat against the wall, so it doesn't take up the little counterspace that I have.
