Little touches can take a card from simple to send-worthy and I think this pumpkin card totally fits the bill! I am sort of known for these little touches and I even created a free gift all about these tips and tricks that you can get when you sign up for my newsletter. Let's take a look at today's project and I can explain further:
You can see that even though this card is pretty simple, there's still plenty going on. The white on white layers, the greeting in the corner, the stitching on the square, the tiny peek of orange scallops and the tiny linen thread bow are all, on their own, a whole lotta not-so-much. But all together, they really add a lot of collective impact.
Here's a closer look at that cute, fat pumpkin:
You will notice that the pumpkin has been raised up using Stampin' Dimensionals to create that element of depth, as does the shading on the pumpkin itself created with the easy use of Stampin' Blends. Put that detail together with all the others and you've got a pumpkin card that is cute enough to send to a youngster but understated enough to use as a well-wish to anyone.
