Perfectly Preserved has got to be one of the cutest stamp sets in the Holiday catalog from Stampin' Up! that just started this week, and it has the Cannery Framelits!  It is just too stinkin' cute!

This card is a perfect example on how to use up extra pieces of DSP that you may have laying around – it doesn't take much, but it sure makes the card, wouldn't you say?

Perfectly Preserved, Stampin' Up!, Holiday CatalogThis is one of the stamp sets that makes card making and scrapbooking EASY!

First you stamp on Whisper White the jar, the pear, the stem and the lid all from Stampin' Up!'s Perfectly Preserved.  Then grab your Big Shot and your Cannery Framelits and the Window Frames Collection Framelits and get to gettin' with those.

Now I will share with you that I have a stamper that hates Framelits, I mean HATES them.  Finally I asked her why, for a while I just let her go on about it all, but I finally asked her.  She says that she hates them because of the cost.  HUH?  The cost?  Walk with me on this thought journey for a bit…

If these were punches, and go with the Cannery Set – it is a set of 7, and just for the sake of keeping math easy, let's say on average they were $10 each, because there are some big ones and there are some little ones and $10 is just easy, that would be $70!!!!

Now let's turn to the Window Frames Framelits, it is a set of 6, that is $60.  So now, we are at $54 for dies and $130 for shipping.

***If you do not have a Big Shot, these savings practically pay for the Big Shot itself!  It would for sure by the time you get your third set of Framelits.  And remember, I took the price down to $10 each, just as an easy number, you know it would actually be more than that.***

And don't even get me started on storage of punches vs Framelits

So I hope that you see the value in the Framelits, I think they are just too fun!  But if you have questions about them, please let me know!

OK, back to finishing up all the prep work for Stamp Camp tomorrow – it will be a great stamping day.

I hope that you have have enjoyed this easy card using Stampin' Up!'s Perfectly Preserved from the new Holiday Catalog and that if you weren't a Framelit fan before that you will be now!
