As I shared in this card here, I had my countertop with my scraps and I was about to sweep them all into my trash pail…

But luckily I stopped myself!

I had the pieces leftover from the die cut words. It was a piece of white card stock that I had backed with an adhesive sheet before I die cut it.

I love the Happy Thanksgiving word dies and the To The Orchard patterned paper, so I'm so happy to get two card ideas out of one die cut!

All I needed to do was grab another pattern of paper from the To The Orchard pack to put behind it.

Since the adhesive sheet was already on the back of the white card stock, it was easy to peel it off and add it to the patterned paper.

I used my Rockin' Red ink pad around the edges of my white card stock and put it behind my patterned paper.

Some baker's twine tied in a bow around these layers made it come together and it doesn't look anything like Thanksgiving leftovers!

I went with a white card base with foam adhesive and this card is complete.

The Supplies

Here's the short list of what you need to create this card. And remember, this is the second card from the same die cuts on this card.

And there we have it! I love these dies and paper so much, they are pretty!

And if you haven't used patterned paper from Catherine Pooler Designs before, it's a card stock weight. So it holds up better than thinner patterned paper – it's also a dream to dry emboss since it's thicker.

You're the Best!

Thank you for being here today. I hope you've enjoyed these two Thanksgiving day card ideas! More coming your way soon! XOXO, Meg
