Have you ever had some paper with patterns that just didn't tickle your fancy? Maybe it was part of package with some paper with patterns you DID like? Well, it happens to all of us and I have a most excellent solution. JAZZ IT UP! One way you can do that is to stamp right over it, creating your OWN, fresh new paper with patterns that didn't exist five seconds ago! Check out what I mean:
See that pretty polka dot paper with all the flowers all over it? That's the SAME EXACT paper from this project! It's the same dotted paper from the retiring Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper, now in lower numbers in inventory but still orderable (so don't wait is what I am saying). I just stamped a flower from the Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set – also retiring! – in Bermuda Bay all over it. Doesn't it look like TOTALLY DIFFERENT paper? I know, right?
Here's another look at the card:
You can see that I didn't need to use any Stampin' Dimensionals or additional embellishments because those flowers stamped over the patterned paper added enough depth and kept your eyes moving so this card has a ton of energy and fun without a lot of fuss.
Here are the other products I used on this card:
Remember that the Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper is ON SALE at 40% off for just $7.80 a package. Grab it while you can – we are all expecting the word that it has sold out any day now!
Take a peek through your papers and see which ones you have that could use some love. Experiment with colors and types of stamps and soon you will be looking at paper with patterns in a whole new light!
