Paper Crafts Idea: Using Project Life to Make A Hand Made Card
Welcome to today's Paper Crafts Idea that is all about using Project Life cards to make a hand made card.
It's Monday, and that means bright colors and polka dots over here at the iTeach Stamping blog. Why? Because on Monday's, coffee isn't enough. I need something else fun and perky to get me going for the week.
This one was a challenge to add in the polka dots, but you will see how I did it.
I struggled with finding a patterned paper that I wanted to use today. I dug and dug through my paper stash, and then remembered my Project Life cards. These are pre-cut, pre-designed cards of various sizes and patterns. All the supplies used are listed at the bottom of this post for you.
Today I went with the Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection. You get 100 double sided cards, no exact duplications and they are awesome for both card making and scrapbooking!
The cards gave me my color palette too, I added in some Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush and Crushed Curry in different places.
The sentiment was stamped right onto the card from the Bravo stamp set with that Bermuda Bay ink. The smaller sentiment was stamped onto an extra piece of Whisper White and the Strawberry Slush ink.
To finish out the smaller sentiment, I used the Hexagon punch on each end.
And to finish out the larger sentiment, I added rhinestone jewels.
Then we are onto the inside, and that is where the polka dots make an appearance.
Using the Six Sided Sampler stamp set, I stamped the patterns in the same Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush and Crushed Curry inks onto Whisper White card stock and used the Hexagon punch to punch them out.
And just like that, this card was done! From blank canvas to complete in under 7 minutes, I call that a win!

Hello – been following you on Facebook and am intrigued by some of your designs. I have a small fortune invested in Stampin Up products. How does your Everyday Adventure work?? I used to be part of a group that got together once a month, but we have kind of gotten away from it and I miss making the cards. Appreciate any information you can send me. Thank you!!
Hi Beverly! The Everyday Adventure is a product that Stampin’ Up! offers. And I used that for making this card. If you are wanting to stamp with a group, I recommend you checking out Stamping Family – it is a lot of fun and a lot of great ideas!
