Paper Crafts Ideas: Using Four You From Stampin' Up!
For today's Paper Crafts Idea we are using polka dots and the Four You stamp set from Stampin' Up! I use this dang set all the time.
Being such a sentiment and font junkie, I have to give this one two thumbs up. It's great, check it out:
If you have been following me for any length of time, you probably know that Monday's require bright colors, polka dots and coffee. Today is no different. I just need that jolt of fun, pep, and brightness to get me going on a Monday morning.
For the color palette, I am not sure why I chose Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay. It just sorta happened. It was the neutrals that took me a bit to pick out. White was a given. But what about that black? It was initially a brown, then changed to a gray before it was black.
Don't worry about what supplies are used, there is a chart at the bottom with all of them listed.
If you struggle with your neutrals, take an extra minute and pull out all of your neutrals. One sheet of each neutral in one section of your stamp area will save you lots of stress and frustration. Then just test it out. Lay out the other layers on top of your neutrals and see how it looks.
When you put the right color for it, you will instantly know.
For an extra pop, I added some texture to the Whisper White Embossing Folder. Having the big polka dots rather than the small ones looks much better and breaks up all the little dots.
Then for the bow, it is all the magic you get with the 10 Second Bow Maker. In less than 10 seconds, I had a perfect bow, even though this is a wide ribbon. If you don't have one of these gems, order it today and you will probably have it by this weekend! Click here to order yours today.
