All Occasion Hand Made Card Idea Using Stampin' Up's Amazing Birthday
If you need an idea for a handmade card, and you don't have a lot of time, here is a great and simple idea for you. It even has layers that you don't have to add if you don't want to.
You start by stamping your sentiment on Whisper White card stock in Real Red ink. I used the Amazing Birthday stamp set from Stampin' Up! At first, I bought this stamp set for just this image, but I have used most of the images by now. But this one is my favorite.
Check out all the cool stamps in this set:
That layer went onto a piece of Night of Navy card stock and then those went onto Real Red card stock.
I dry embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Large Polka Dot embossing folder. And you really could use any embossing folder you want. Slap that embossed piece of Whisper White onto a piece of Real Red and then onto Night of Navy.
Attach your sentiment and you are DONE!
So how could you make it even more simple? Eliminate the middle layers.
Your card base would stay Night of Navy and then add your dry embossed layer on top. Then skip the Night of Navy on the sentiment layer. Seriously Simple!!

Meg-I AM getting your newsletter in my emails…where have I been?!!
I love the new big dot EMB folder..gotta get that one for sure. We used it at my June 28th party but never ordered it.
My absolute favorite new stamp set (and very popular at my party) is Work Of Art. Darla, my demo, used it on 2 of the 4 cards we made. Really liking the new catalog this year..SU surpassed my expectations once again with all the great merchandise!!
So happy you have been enjoying it all so much Karen!
This is a great card – it’s eye catching but easy for beginners.
Thanks so much Sue!
